Central location was a plus. I randomly popped in Albertini Restaurant serving some pastries, located approx 10-15 minutes' walk from the hotel, it was nice. The breakfast at the property was generous and good for such good value...

I liked the staff, the cleanliness, the location, the breakfast.
Didn't like the room. It's very small for a Queen size bed. Catastrophically small shower - only 60x60cm.

I really liked the breakfast. The staff were really hard-working and very pleasant. The food was good too - a real contrast from hotel chains. I also liked the lift - a real period piece, and generally that the hotel was individual.
The room was extremely hot and cramped. The whole hotel was very cramped. For a budget hotel I would have been really happy - but to sell this room as a real knockdown price (at £100) on its usual price - felt like robbery. (I do appreciate the really central location.) So I wouldn't recommend it because of a combination of the price and how cramped it is. It didn't feel like a luxury hotel and yet it's price was.

My stay at the Mabledon Court Hotel was pleasant. The room was of a suitable size, clean and covered all of the basic amenities. The hotel's decor is slightly dated but was perfect for a short stay to London. The staff were polite/friendly and the in-house breakfast room was of a good standard. The hotels location is convenient, really close to a number of tube stations and has a selection of pubs/eateries near by. Would definitely stay again.
If I was to be picky, the room that I stayed in was quite warm (as if the heating was on). The hotel had provided an electric fan in the room so that problem was sorted once it had been plugged in.
